I am writing today to thank you and your wonderful team for taking such wonderful care of my little girl!!
Amaliya has been with little learners for almost 18 months and settled into two of the rooms at Little Learners! I appreciate the support I get as a mum and the wonderful care Amaliya receives each and everyday. I leave her there knowing that her start to an early education, is a great one!
Little learners, in particular, the educators and leaders in the Koala and Platypus rooms have been wonderful in helping Amaliya achieve some pretty significant goals including confidence in trying new things, toileting, and overcoming fears especially in separation anxiety! I find them a fantastic support and source of encouragement when implementing change and transitioning the children into new and unknown environments!
My daughter was struggling with separating at drop off, which was distressing for both me and Amaliya as well as her educators and peers. Indrish set a goal that Amaliya would develop confidence, courage and strength in this area and with weeks of persistence and consistency, Amaliya has now stopped morning behaviours and gladly waves me goodbye with a smile on her face!! It may be a small thing, but in its entirety, it's all the small things that make up the big things in the lives of our little people and their families!!
I remember feeling anxious about transitioning Amaliya to her new room this year, but with your support and your teams support, next years transition is now something I look forward to!
Amaliya loves coming to crèche, she adores her educators and her peers, and this makes me happy!
There is no doubt in my mind, little learners has contributed greatly to Amaliya's physical, emotional and social development! I am so so glad I chose little learners for my child's early education!!
I have recommended little learners to other mothers in my circle and will continue to recommend you and your professional team of educators!!
Thank you for a great year in 2016 and we both look forward to what 2017 shall bring!
With warmest regards,
Cara (23 Nov 2016)
We have had 3 children attend little Learners for about 4yrs now, we love the carers in all of the rooms and find them to be so accommodating, helpful and caring towards our children. They go above and beyond every mothers and Father's Day and we are so impressed with the end of year portfolio that we receive for each child. We cannot recommend them highly enough. My daughter broke her leg and was on a walking frame for 6 weeks and they met with an occupational therapist from the hospital and made measures so she could attend while on the frame. Wonderful staff and management - I would recommend them to anyone who asks.

I just wanted to commend you and all your staff on running such a fantastic centre.
When I came to Little learners a few months ago it was my first experience with seeking a child care centre that suited my needs but more importantly would meet my very high expectations of how I wanted my child to be treated. I visted a couple of centres which didn't leave me feeling all that confident that I was doing the right thing by leaving my Daughter, Emani there.
When I came to Little Learners, from the moment I walked in the door everyone was friendly and most helpful. In my experience, everything I have seen at your centre is to a exceptional standard, including the cleanliness of the rooms and the equipment. What I like most, is that I always see your staff being affectionate towards the children which includes extra cuddles for those who need them on any given day.
In the Wombat room in which Emani attends, the environment is always warm and inviting with whatever activity is been held at the time. The kids are always lovely and clean and the staff's interactions with the kids is focused and attentive all the time. It's comforting as a parent, as well as to a little person to see the same faces due the continuity of your staff. I can't speak highly enough of the staff in the Wombat room, especially Jade, Melanie and Rebecca who always have the time to talk with me about how Emani's day has been. They have made this experience an extremely positive one and I am very pleased that I stumbled across Little Learners.
Our son has been attending Little Learners for almost 3.5 years. He started in the wombat Room and is now doing 4 year old Kinder in the Kookaburra Room. We love Little Learners and are so glad we found them.
From the moment you walk in, you are always greeted with warm welcome. The staff are professional, but also a caring, loving, nurturing nature towards all the children and parents. They don’t mind you calling during the day to check on your child and they always have time and patience when you want to talk about child’s progress and what’s been going on with them.
The education and learning our son is receiving is amazing and above anything we had expected. From the moment you start they are encouraging your children to meet age appropriate targets and then getting them ready for school with the kindergarten Program. It is a whole rounded education from socially, emotionally, physically, intellect, self identity and self confidence.
Then there’s the food they serve each day. OMG, its tasty healthy and such a variety. Our son gets to experiences food that he may not have gotten at home. His favourite food is pumpkin soup and Mexican wraps.
Lastly, the highlight of the year is the Portfolio of their development that we get. It contains photos of the experiences done throughout the year, artwork, messages of achievements and just the 12 months they have had. It’s a great keepsake of your child’s 12 months. We also received a CD of all the photos taken during the year.
We just want to say thank you to Little Learners for making us part of your family, caring and loving our son. It is really appreciated.

As you know my son Rafael started school this year.
Please allow me to express my appreciation to Disna, Amal, and Linda for all the great efforts and the teaching they have provided Rafael. They have prepared him so well to school and to be able to socialise excellently with other kids and teachers.
Rafael is loving his school, teachers and his new & old friends. He is very excited to show the teachers that he knows a lot of things, especially the letters, numbers and sounds.
We have attended the parents information sessions tonight, and listened to the teachers outlining the key elements of the curriculum. We are now very sure that Rafael is ready for the school. Little Learners centre have prepared him so well and your kindergarten curriculum is very close to the Prep one.
Thank you again and please pass on my regards and appreciation to all your staff.
I am emailing tonight to say thank you!!! And, to hopefully reassure other first time mums going back to work that you guys really take time and effort to get new children and their families settled with great care and so much support!!!
You and your team at little learners are amazing and I am so so grateful!
I recall my first walk through with you earlier this year, when you spent one whole hour of your busy day with me, to not only show me around your centre, but to explain all aspects of what I should expect during my transition period and answer any questions I had relating to the care my daughter would get including menu, staffing, qualifications, programs, Centrelink assistance and the all important details for a smooth transition during the settling period.
As a first time mum putting her child in child care, was a difficult time for me! 6 weeks in... I must say I could not be happier with the care and support to both me and Amaliya, you and your team have shown, since day dot!! Knowing how challenging it was for me, nothing was too much trouble... Zoe is beautiful, a caring supportive face in the morning when I drop Amaliya off makes it easier for me to start my working day!
A call (or two) during the day is never too much trouble to your staff , and all of them offer information and updates so happily and with genuine empathy!
Pick up is so exciting as I look forward to hearing Amaliya's progress from Rae, she really takes time out to give me positive and constructive feedback on how she is doing and is always delivered in a caring and honest manner!!
Renata is fun fun fun, I have often picked Amaliya up and found the two of them engaged in singing or a chat or a cuddle!! Michelle is always comforting a child who is feeling under the weather or just needs a cuddle! All of these things matter and definitely don't go unnoticed! It is also consistent which is what I love! I know my daughter is in wonderful hands and I just want to know just how appreciative I am!
I am sure as little Learners expands you will continue to make young children grow and learn and mums and dads smile! Not all centre's do this! Only the good ones!!
I wish you and your team all the success!
Little Learners Early Education Centre were one of the first childcare centres in the municipality to register with the Healthy Together Achievement Program. Since signing onto the Achievement Program they have worked closely with the Healthy Together Whittlesea team at the City of Whittlesea and Plenty Valley Community Health and the statewide Achievement Program team at CEIPS and Cancer Council Victoria.
A core component of the Achievement Program is about demonstrating community partnerships, something Little Learners will address as they work through the health priority areas.
Little Learners is a stand-out centre and have recently joined other childcare centres, schools and kindergartens in the Sugary Drink Free campaign running in October. They have also featured in the Healthy Together Whittlesea e-newsletter.

We have been part of the Little Learners family for the past 8 years, both our children started as tiny babies and have attended right through to 4 year old Kinder.
The team at Little Learners provide a caring and nurturing environment not only for the children attending but for the entire family. We have been able to put our trust in the team to be sensitive to the needs of each of our children and provide the very best in care, positive health and nutrition, education and lunch/snack menus and an engaging curriculum.
The team go above and beyond in their efforts to integrate family with childcare creating a community environment for all involved. Examples include Mother’s/Father’s day celebrations, birthday celebrations, Kinder graduation, celebration of cultural events such as Chinese New Year, Diwali and NAIDOC week.
What we like the most is how bright and open it is, with a large yard to play in. The staff are always friendly, smiling and know ALL the children by 1st names. They always let you know what kind of day your child has had, both verbally and in writing through the photo communication day book.
We will be sad to leave the Little Learners family next year when our youngest starts school.

My name is Karen & I have had both of my children attend Little Learners during the last 5 years.
My 4 year old is currently in the Echidna room.
I have found that the staff who have looked after my family take a real and genuine interest in my children & their family life.
All room staff are approachable and happy to tell me how my Child's day has been.
Although I have never been around during lunch, both of my kids enjoyed the food supplied. The fried rice is a huge hit with them both.
The facilities have recently been upgraded & it’s now harder to get my kids out of an evening to go home. They keep saying, just watch this mum, or one more time mum.
And finally, the office staff & management are always on hand to answer any questions – big or small.
With my son's recent diagnosis of Asthma, there has been a real smooth transition with his treatment when required, which has enabled me to confidently leave him in their care.
I am so glad that I found Erin & her team.

Both my children went to little learners prior to their schooling years. Finding a suitable childcare centre was a challenge but Little Learners ticked all the boxes.
I must acknowledge the wonderful staff who provided excellent care for my children throughout the years. The assistance from the Centre Director and other admin staff at all times were second to none.
Thank you Little Learners for your wonderful service over the years.
Thanks to the lovely ladies in Koala room in 2015: Rae, Mary, Zoe and Summer. Rae gave me great parenting advise and communicated really well as we worked together on our daughter’s development. Summer is loved by all the kids and our daughter often calls her name at home!
Erin runs a very professional centre with an emphasis on education. As an educator myself I was really impressed with the depth of their programs and personalisation of the learning experience. Another day care centre I experienced didn’t even come close.
Thanks Erin and thanks to your whole team.
